Dr.MIDI is the internet division of the Bergh Institute of Music Technology, and pioneers in internet video consumer music education. The BIMT curriculum is available to download as a video movie for self-study. The cost is only $9.95 per lesson. The entire 10 courses are also available on DVD.

3 is a download explaining the origins of major scales and chords.
This lesson is perfectly suited for beginners or musicians who play
by ear, and want to know more about what they are doing, and how to
properly create chords. The video is about 15 minutes in length, and

tetrachords and their formulas, the major scale formula, and the major
chord. A logical explaination of major chord formation will allow
